Good teaching is more the giving of right questions than the giving of right answers

Online tutoring sessions are $75 per hour. $50 per student group sessions are possible ---consisting of 2 or 3 siblings or friends --- as arranged by the students or parents themselves. Packages of 3 one hour SAT, ACT or CLT sessons are $220 and packages of 5 one hour SAT,  ACT or CLT are $350. Catholic Question sessions are free! :o). There are also occaisional promotions throughout the year advertized on the bannar of our homepage.

In person sessions are an additional $25-$35 depending on the distance from Math Tutor Plus: Palm Beach County Main Library on Summit Blvd, or Starbucks on Forest Hill Blvd by Miltary Trail, $25; Your home or other locations 2-5 miles from Math Tutor Plus, $35. (map)

It is even more effective! Math Tutor Plus' years of experience has confirmed this! Almost every student that tries online tutoring with Math Tutor Plus prefers the online setting. This is because the dynamics of the online session help to keep the student focused on the content. The students are engaged by their interaction with the colorful technology, graphs, formulas and other tools that are at their and their instructor's fingertips, and they are less distracted in the comfort of their own home or room. They are therfore more attentive and learn better! It is VERY rare that a student prefers face to face tutoring over online tutoring after experiencing online tutoring with Math Tutor Plus! Moreover, time, expense, and the always present danger of traveling by car, or the spread of sickness and disease is avoided by tutoring online. Additionally, a helpful, colorful pdf file of all the problems covered in the tutoring session is emailed to the student at the end of each session for future and easy reference.

The student simply goes to our tutoring rooms page at the appointed time, clicks on the appropriate room, and the student will be tutoring right away! 

Yes. The tutor can and will share his or her screen so that the student can see what the tutor is demonstrating, and likewise, the student will be able to share his/her screen so that the tutor can see whatever the student wants to display to the tutor. The tutor also has a whiteboard that both the student and the tutor can see and write on simultaneously.

No, it is not necessary at all!  

If the student has a touchscreen computer or tablet, the student and tutor will be able see and write on Math Tutor Plus' interactive whiteboard simultaneously, as well as share their screens with one another, and upload images and files to the whiteboard.

However, if the student does not have a touchscreen computer or tablet, the tutor will share his or her screen so that the student can see what the tutor is demonstrating, and likewise, the student will share his/her screen so that the tutor can see whatever the student wants to display to the tutor. The tutor will write on Math Tutor Plus' dedicated whiteboard, and will demonstrate on the whiteboad for the student to interact with the tutor. Moreover, the student can display his or her work to the tutor via his or her webcam (if his/her computer has one) or via phone pictures that the student can easily and instantaneously text or emai to the tutor. Therefore, pencil and paper are all the student needs!

Yes! The student can even tutor straight from their phone.

Math Tutor Plus uses Google Meet (and in some instances Zoom or Microsoft Teams) as its tutoring platform. No app or download is necessary. The student simply clicks on our tutoring rooms page at the appointed time, and the student will be admitted into the Google Meet room right away!

Tutoring appointments are available Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 9 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sundays if necessary. You can call, text, or email from 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Sunday as well.

Payments can be made through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or Paypal. If you have a Paypal account, you can pay with your credit, debit or bank accounts linked to your Paypal account.

Payments are expected prior to the tutoring sessions to secure your reserved times and to finalize the bookings.

Cancelations or rescheduling must be made 24 hours prior to the appointment for a full refund or credit by texting or calling (561) 444-7224, or by emailing appointments@mathtutorplus.com.
